st George map rendering

Ok .. I have read everything about rendering... problem is the st George map that I downloaded has three jpg in them... and I have tried rendering each one of them.. nothing happens.. all I get is just the green terrain.. with nothing on it... Rendering doesn't even seem to work...when I open the file to render nothing happens.. don't even see it doing a thing.. and I have waited hours for it to render still nothing...

So what am I doing wrong?   I follow the steps and goes great till the file is selected... also tried to us Mapper to render the file and still nothing.. actually the file from the download st George map doesn't eve show up in Mapper...
