Hi everybody  ;),

After a while, time has come for an update.

I show you here some pictures of Olsènes.

6. OLSÈNES - INTRO

Quote"Olsènes" is located in the french speaking part of the country (yes I know, any resemblance is totaly coincidental  $%Grinno$%). The city is located in the river Hogne valley and began to grown with the Industrial Revolution. After a long period of crisis, the city began its reconversion in the seventies to become the financial center of the country.

Good to see you back - you know how much I like your work, and this new city fits perfectly into the grand scheme of your region, while having a different character.
Thank you Ben. Every time a pleasure to see your encouraging comments.  ;)

Several few-months-long breaks... I know it too! So don't worry - studies are more important than the game. What is more, after while of waiting, even few photos are valuable and interesting ;)

The first photo of Olsènes looks promising. It is visible, that it lies in a small valley. Fitting the motorway in such place was a quite hard task! Maybe, you could think about some tunnels? ;)
Thank you. Yes I know you have the same problem. Sometimes I don't have time, sometimes this game bore me when I saw that I did nothing in two hours of game... For the tunnels, they are planned. My idea is to make a ring motorway passing through the hills of my city.

Gorgeous city, there's just no building repetition what so ever.  &apls

The transit networks are very nice too, pic 3 is my favorite in that regard. Definitely worth the wait!  :D

Excellent shots! The church, located on the top of a hill looks gorgeus! Well planned and well-made. I like small details, such as squares, pedestrian plazas (even going under the motorway), parkings, statues, embankements and especially the tram line going windy trough narrow streets ;)
Thank you for visiting Kolbrów, and for being for last ten years!

Fantastic pictures. Love the tram line going through the city. :)
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

I love the church's location and how you worked the slope!! And the use of Bats of different periods and styles is magnificent!! Bravo!!!  &apls  Your city reminds me of Prague, with the cathedral at the top of the hill.

Feyss,

Really impressive! A very well thought out city with lots of realistic details.
I hardly can imagine how much time you must have put into this city.  &apls

Thank you too. Well, I never thought about Prague but you're right. Maybe, it's also because the majority of W2Wbuilding avalaible are inspired by Eastern Europe ? :D

Thank you FrankU. Well, I began this city 6 months ago and only 1/3 of the map is full. I often destroy buildings when I don't like it or I place the different areas step by steps. I would never build an entire region because it would take me 20 years I think.  $%Grinno$%
