I do not know when or how, but in one of the regions the time has strangely changed:

Maybe you got cryogenically frozen for thousand years and your computer was still running all the time.Look out the window,any hover cars or rockets in sight?
and maybe you´re communicating with us in the past through a Hawking Hole that opened up :D

You will not believe it, but I found the reason for this behavior of the timer. This happens when I plop the power plant, which, apparently, is intended for a project associated with Mars in the future.
