Would any of our fine lot creators be interested in creating some 1x1 plaza lots of different shapes? Some diagonal plazas or even curved (like some of the canal lots - inside/outside corner and so forth) would allow for some variety in paved open space. We already have concrete sidewalks. I envision textures like the sandstone tiles or compatible with Mickebear's plazas. Cobblestone would be nice too.

To all lot designers and builders/testers: you guys (and gals) rock! SC4 gets better every day thanks to your efforts!  &apls

You mean something like this?

That's a seasonal tree, btw.

Ooooh! I like that!!!

I am hoping to create some ambience with irregularly shaped plazas and such.

Too bad that you can't rotate the lamppost by 45 degrees. ;) You might want to pick the other one (with only one lamp), this should overcome the issue.

Thanks! And Andreas, I switched that lamp post, looks much better now.  :)

Well Schulman, its up to you, what other kind of lots would you like? I can't really find any good textures for inside/outside corners, I would really
appreciate it if someone were to make some. Anyway, I've got a couple more lots to finish up; then I'll show you them in-game.

You are so kind to help. I was thinking though to do one without the fence on it. That would limit the context into which it can be placed. My initial idea was to create an irregularly shaped town square for a historic town. Would it be possible for the non-plaza part to be invisible so it can be placed along a diagonal road? That would be most helpful. I was sort of envisioning a square with orthogonal buildings and things like prepo's w2w diagonal all in one old style plaza.

I am eager to see your adaptations!
